Working with the Waco Police Department (WPD)

The Waco Police Department has a team (the Neighborhood Engagement Team) consisting of senior officers assigned to work with neighborhood associations like ours.  The Neighborhood Engagement Officer assigned to the Cameron Park Neighborhood Association is:

Officer (and Chaplain) Damus Vice
Waco Police Department

3115 Pine Ave Waco TX 76708
damusv@wacotx.gov
Office 254-750-7063
Cell 254-652-9143

Officer Vice attends most of our meetings and many of our service projects and social gatherings, and is an invaluable resource for us.  If you haven't met him yet, please introduce yourself at the next CPNA meeting.

Our Crime and Safety Committee works with Officer Vice and others at the WPD, as well as other city departments such as the Street Department and Parks and Wildlife to address both crime and traffic-related concerns in both our neighborhood and Cameron Park.  Click here to read more about this.
